We walk for Christian. We walk for every victim.
On June 24, 2022, Christian — 18 years old — was shot and killed in a drive-by shooting on the South Side of Chicago. He was an innocent bystander. His brother, Gianno Caldwell, founded the Caldwell Foundation for Public Safety in his memory — because no family should ever have to walk that road.
On July 25th, we are bringing our community together for a Community March Against Violence in Chicago's Morgan Park neighborhood — starting at Morgan Park High School, the school Christian attended.
We walk in his memory. We walk for every victim. We walk to demand safer communities for every family in Chicago and across this country.
This is a family-friendly event. All are welcome.
